First of all, that is what the Moto X? And well, that I knowit's the new smartphone Lighthouse designed by the duo, Motorola and Google. Latter has clearly intend to shake the Smartphone market by introducing a number of new features that were not seen in the area of smartphones at the present time. Some of these things include sensors that can detect movement and voice, and react accordingly.
Here is a taste of what Moto X is able to do only with the voice and Google Now:
Speaking of sensors, Motorola has found it useful to incorporate a subtle feature on his camera. Indeed, the application dedicated to the shooting can be activated by two quick flips of the wrist. Here it is in action:
As you might have seen in the trailers above, one of the slogans that keeps coming up is the "designed by you. In fact, it may be the most important aspect of the Moto X. In the coming months, Motorola will open a Web application named MotoMaker that will allow consumers to design their own Moto X.
In other words, unlike what one sees today on the market, the customization of the smartphone will be before even be in your hands. With an online, MotoMaker studio, you choose the colors, and you decide all the details: the colour of the façade forward and reverse buttons, or the amount of internal storage, wallpapers, and even add a name or a short message on the rear hull. When you are finished, your Moto X is assembled in the United States before being shipped for free-if you reside in the United States - in a time of 4 days or less.
You can thus choose among more than 2 000 possible combinations, and others are coming in the near future. Motorola would have even considered a genuine wooden hull, which will be produced later in the year.
All this looks cool, but what about hardware specifications? A smartphone is only good when the hardware that powers it is quality. In this area, Moto X is doing rather well. The heart of the device is referred to as the Motorola X 8. Will latter bring a dual-core processor at 1.7 GHz, Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 Pro and two additional low-power processors to handle voice recognition and touch. Regarding other characteristics, the smartphone has 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory, a 4.7-inch 720 p and a density of 316 DPI pixel screen, of a Clear Pixel camera 10 megapixel camera on the back, and a 2 megapixel front camera dedicated to cat and the Hangouts. On the side of software, it is equipped with Android 4.2.2.
Also note, that the Moto X supports 4G LTE connectivity. There will also the traditional USB 2.0 ports, a smart WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, aGPS, NFC chip.
Therefore, when you'll be able to get their hands on the Moto X? Oh, the unit is planned to be launched soon. Indeed, late August, early September you could get your hands on this smartphone depending on the chosen operator. Speaking of operators, AT & T and Verizon will both sell the 16 GB versions black and white Moto x for $199 - with a package of course - and only AT & T customers will be able to customize it by using the MotoMaker Web site. The unlocked device will be available via the Motorola Web site and Google play at a later date, but Motorola has not yet indicated how much the unlocked version will cost.
It is fine, but if I do not reside in the United States? And well, as say you, you won't have the chance to get their hands on the device. If no mention was made about a possible launch in Europe, be aware that it would be very surprising to see Moto X come to us because of its production to the United States. Maybe Motorola will propose everything simply a "revised" version of the Moto X...
It is much, much too early to tell if Motorola has managed his paris released a device that will attract the crowds, especially because many competitors offer a similar feature set.
What do you think of this smartphone? Match your expectations?
